Pattern Testing

Designers are always coming up with new and inspiring patterns. But how do they know it works for everyone? How do they know if the pattern is written clearly and legibly? Designers often look for individuals to read through their patterns for grammatical and fluency errors. They also request pattern testers to follow along with the instructions to sew their product, ensuring the pattern is written accurately and all pieces fit together properly.

That is where I come in. I work with countless designers to review and sew through their patterns. Providing thorough feedback, producing clear and professional photos and promoting their pattern on social media are essential for a pattern tester. I also offer suggestions for new or easier techniques where applicable.
